Step-by-step guide to milling with the PB-10

1. Move the machine into contact with the workpiece only after the selected tool

speed has been reached.

2. Guide the machine along the workpiece only after the spacer guide-bearing

has made contact with the workpiece.

3. When initially cutting the bevel, the machine must always be moved from left to

right. Make sure you know which way the milling head is rotating. The machine

should only be used for conventional (upcut) milling.

4. When machining bore holes, always work in a clockwise direction.

Operation & Debugging Issues
1: What should I pay attention to before operating?

Check before work: screws tightened, blades sharp, power cords intact.
Cleaning workpieces: Remove oil stains and remove leftover slag from flame cutting.
Ready: Test the idling to ensure no abnormal noises or vibrations.
2: Why is the groove surface rough or corrugated?
The causes and solutions are as follows:

Blades that are too dull or not made of matching material: replace with new blades or carbide blades.

Feed/Too Fast Rate: Set it a bit slower.

Insufficient cutting fluid: check and add enough.

If the workpiece isn't fixed properly: reinforce it.

3: Why is the cutting resistance so high that it feels like it can't be pushed?
The causes and solutions are as follows:

Cutting too deep in a single pass: reduce cutting depth and use multiple strokes.

The pressure wheel is too tight: adjust it appropriately.

If the board has hard spots or burrs: clean or sand it first.

4: What should I do if the motor tends to overheat or trip?
The main checks are as follows:

Severe overload: Break the cut in multiple steps.

Should the blades be replaced? Replace them with new ones.

Is the machine running continuously for too long? Let it rest for a while.

5: What is "Kickback"? How should we respond?
This is a dangerous phenomenon where a rotating blade suddenly gets stuck, causing the device to bounce abruptly. Remember this mnemonic: Stand firmly with both hands, pay attention to the edges and corners of the board, and follow the direction of the iron filings flying out to make the knife.
