Recently, Wellnit Machinery Manufacturing received a new machine order from an overseas customer for an ISE-252 internal expanding pipe beveling machine. To ensure the equipment is ready for immediate use upon arrival at the customer's site, Wellnit conducted a comprehensive pre-delivery testing and commissioning process according to standard procedures. This commissioning was part of routine quality verification for newly purchased products. Through a complete testing process, every pipeline beveling machine is ensured to be in optimal working condition before shipment.

Product Details

Model: ISE-252

Function: Internal expanding pipe beveling machine

Applications: Suitable for indoor and outdoor batch pipe processing in explosive, fire-proof environments

The ISE-252 uses cold cutting technology with spark-free operation, widely used in pipeline installation and maintenance/emergency repair projects in oil, gas, petrochemical, and other industries. This pipeline beveling machine is favored by domestic and international customers for its internal expanding quick positioning, wide material compatibility, and high processing precision.

 Core Objectives

The core objective of this pre-delivery testing is to ensure the machine operates normally, meets all factory standards, and allows customers to use the equipment immediately upon receipt without requiring secondary commissioning.

 Pre-Commissioning Preparation

Tool List: Standard wrench set, expansion blocks (matching test pipe diameter)

Product Manual/Guide: ISE-252 operation manual

Test Materials: One carbon steel pipe (wall thickness matching ISE-252's processing range)

Before commissioning, the engineer checked the machine's configuration completeness and prepared test pipes for beveling verification.

Core Test Content

The commissioning engineer conducted a complete test following these steps:

Check machine configuration completeness: Select and install appropriate expansion blocks based on pipe inner diameter.

Installation and positioning: Insert the expansion mechanism into the pipe inner diameter for self-centering, then rotate the expansion nut clockwise to securely tighten the machine inside the pipe.

Tool adjustment: Maintain an initial distance of approximately 2mm between the installed tool and the pipe inner wall to avoid tool collision at startup.

Connect air supply: With sufficient and stable air pressure, connect the pneumatic power supply and start the equipment.

Key Note: The machine must be tightly fitted to the pipe without tilting, otherwise tool collision may occur. For each rotation of the cutter head, advance the tool once. Advancing too quickly may cause tool overloading or damage.

Key Commissioning Steps

The most critical step in this commissioning was determining whether the machine is properly expanded. The engineer confirmed that the expansion block was fully seated against the pipe inner wall without any tilt. This step directly affects the stability and safety of subsequent processing and is the core prerequisite for the proper operation of this pipeline beveling machine

Test Results

All machine components are complete and functional

The bevel surface on the test pipe is smooth, burr-free, and the angle meets standards

The equipment is functioning properly and has reached factory delivery standards; customers can use it immediately upon receipt
